Testimonials
I recently attended Coffee with the Candidate with Daran Wastchak and had the pleasure of speaking with him at length personally, as well as listening to other residents voice their concerns about the effects on quality of life from pickleball courts, short-term rentals and other threats to the peace and quiet in our town.
I wholeheartedly endorse Daran Wastchak and encourage others to vote for him and elect him to town council. His personal experience, policy education, empathy, passion and problem solving are exactly what Paradise Valley needs to better address and solve these problems that threaten what we hold so dear about what is supposed to make our town special.
He listens and has intelligent ideas and a commitment to work with anyone and everyone to improve the way residents, town and staff interact and achieve meaningful results.
We would be lucky to have him serve and working on our and the town's behalf.

As residents of Paradise Valley for over 30 years, we have known Daran Wastchak and his family for 14 years. We have known him to be hard-working, reliable, extremely ethical and totally devoted to our community.
He seeks this office not for his own self-aggrandizement, but to make certain Paradise Valley continues to be the outstanding town we all know.
His six years of experience on the Paradise Valley Town Planning Commission (two as chairman) have acquainted him with the needs and issues facing our town. He also supervises the Paradise Valley Men's Breakfast Group where local issues are at the center of monthly discussions.
There are outside influences emanating from the State Legislature that would adversely affect Paradise Valley. Daran Wastchak would stand up to these issues and would not buckle in the face of political pressure. This is the type of individual we need on our town council. We totally support his candidacy and are proud to vote for him!

I have known Daran Wastchak for the past 15 years as my neighbor in Paradise Valley. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Daran as a candidate.
He is well informed and has a strong moral and ethical background. I have watched him raise his beautiful family with principles and values. Daran understands what makes Paradise Valley so special, and he cares very much about the future of our amazing community.
My family and I have watched his dedication to Paradise Valley and to Arizona for over a decade and know he would be an excellent addition to our town council. Join me in voting for Daran Wastchak to represent all of us on the Paradise Valley Town Council.

I joined the Paradise Valley Men’s Breakfast Group several years ago. It is a group of Paradise Valley men (and some women on the Town Council or guests) who meet monthly on an informal basis and share a common interest in what is going on in the town.
Daran Wastchak was asked to take over the lead of this group a couple of years ago. He acts somewhat like a moderator as the mayor and town council or other guests provide updates and answer questions from the group. Daran’s leadership has been impressive, not only by consistently arranging the meetings and invitations, but identifying interesting topics and leading discussions with an even hand.
At the recent Eagle Society candidate forum, Daran showed he was well informed on many issues related to our town, and clearly shared his thoughts with the audience.
We have many good choices for town council, and my own experiences with Daran have been very positive. I don’t know every issue that Daran may or may not support during his term, but I know he would be a well prepared and thoughtful addition to our town council.

Anna Thomasson has been a champion for town residents, both at Town Hall and before the state legislature.
Bob Brown has been an outstanding volunteer on both the Planning Commission and with the Town of Paradise Valley Police Department.
The town would be well served to have such outstanding talent on the council.
